Group events on the Sinai Trail
The Bedouin cooperative of the Sinai Trail operates trips on the trail. Sometimes, these are special hikes of the whole trail; other times, they are shorter events. Creating work on the Sinai Trail is important for the project: this is what gets people working and this is what really supports local communities.
This time we’ll be walking the first 24 days of the trail and we’re breaking the route down into TWO PARTS of 12 days each. The first part is from the Gulf of Aqaba to Ein Kidd: a beautiful oasis with palms and bamboo in the mountains of the Muzeina tribe. The second part is tougher route through some of the most rugged mountain country in the Sinai. You’ll walk narrow wadis, cross high passes and climb to little-known summits. You can join PART 1, PART 2, or BOTH parts together.
